Former Weber Teacher Earns a Fellowship

Former Weber teacher, Yukiko Hill, has been awarded an Endeavor Fellowship with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, allowing her to explore ways to integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics principles into the classroom.

Mrs. Hill is now the STEM teacher in residence at the Grant Wood Area Education Agency. She is excited about the opportunity and hopes it will expand her abilities as a teacher.

During the 18-month online program, Hill will earn her STEM certificate from Teachers College at Columbia University in New York. She also will have the opportunity to pursue national board certification.

We are proud of Mrs. Hill!
